Analyzing the rhythmic structure of a song. We had been analyzing the structures of other songs, but I chose a song in Spanish to challenge the students in having to only rely on the music instead of the lyrics since most of the class did not speak Spanish.

Teaching students how to identify where to find the songwriters of their repertoire by looking at their sheet music, and later asking the question "What is Music?"
